Robot-milling
CIMOTEC has been offering the milling of complex 2D, 2.5D and 3D contours using industrial robots for many years. The most complex contours are machined by the robot with a wide variety of milling cutters and with automatic tool change, the program is created by means of offline programming using a CAM system adapted to the robotic-system. Milling systems with industrial robots are suitable for many milling tasks where the accuracy does not have to be in the 1/100mm range and where costs have to be considered compared to conventional milling machines. Of course, all CIMOTEC systems meet the highest safety standards and are CE, UL or CCC certified.
CIMOTEC ROBOCELL 400 F
Fully automatic milling system with automatic cutter change. The workpiece is clamped and aligned by the worker in a clamping device, the subsequent processing in 2D, 2.5D or 3D operation is carried out by the robot. The systems are based on the proven ROBOCELL housing with noise and dust protection.
