Grinding / Linishing with robots

Complex components are ground at CIMOTEC as a workpiece or tool-guiding system. The mostly fully enclosed systems of the ROBOCELL 200/300, 400 and 500 series are equipped with industrial robots from the brands KUKA, FANUC, ABB and Yaskawa and allow the fully automatic processing of workpieces with a wide variety of grinding tools. Grinding in several grits is just as possible as subsequent matting. Whether the robot guides the tool or the workpiece is usually decided on the basis of the task or the size of the workpiece. With a standardized range of self-developed high-performance grinding, polishing and brushing units, component feeds and removals, turntables, component grippers, etc., a highly productive robot cell can be created in a short time, which guarantees the processing of a wide variety of components for many years. Of course, all CIMOTEC systems meet the highest safety standards and are CE, UL or CCC certified.

CIMOTEC ROBOCELL 200/300

Fully automatic grinding and/or polishing cell with servo-rotatable processing units to achieve very good accessibility of the tool to the component. The ROBOCELL 200 series is equipped with a servo-rotatable 1, 2 or 4-fold unit, the 300 series with two of these rotatable units. The systems are based on the durable ROBOCELL housing with noise and dust protection as well as a wide variety of feed and discharge options for components that are tailored to customer requirements.

ROBOCELL 200:

workpiece-carrying robot system with servo-rotatable and fixed processing units. The workpiece is picked up by the robot, fed to processing and set down again.
ROBOCELL 200:

Workpiece-guiding robot system with servo-rotatable processing units. The operator manually clamps the workpiece in a device outside the cell and picks it up, processes it and puts it down again by the robot.
ROBOCELL 500:

workpiece-carrying robot system with fixed processing units. The workpiece is picked up by the robot from a pallet, fed to processing and set down again.
ROBOCELL 500:

workpiece-carrying robot system with fixed special processing units. The workpiece is picked up by the robot from a pallet, fed to processing and set down again.
ROBOCELL 400:

Tool-guiding robot system with processing units that can be changed fully automatically by the robot. The workpiece is clamped by the operator on a turntable and then ground and brushed by the robot with a wide variety of processing units.
ROBOCELL 400:

Tool-guided eccentric sanding system with automatic changing of the sanding pads, for adjusting and leveling high-gloss surfaces, e.g. before painting.
